A healthy mind is part of a healthy body. Our physical, mental, social, and spiritual health are all more interconnected than society regularly recognizes. As such, make sure to get a little more sleep, move a little bit more, and eat a little healthier (see the Physical Health section for more direction in these areas).
Achieving a healthy mental state is not a one and done. Just like physical health, it is an ongoing revolving door of awareness and course corrections. We are not just labeled, “healthy,” or, “unhealthy,” we have both constantly with us – and it is to which we give attention that determines the direction we are going.
Everyone should be aware of basic information to promote and improve good mental health practices. This place is a resource to start this journey. Please consider which area speaks to you and seek to act on at least one thing you learn from your study.
